Stephen P. Barnes, CPA

Stephen P. Barnes is a Certified Public Accountant licensed to practice in the state of Ohio. He began with Davis & Company in 2007.

Steve has an extensive background in a wide range of business activities. These include financial statement preparation, tax preparation, including both U.S. and international, budgeting, strategic financial planning, accounts receivable and payable, payroll processing and computer/network installation and maintenance.

Steve has also worked with small companies to design and implement accounting procedures for efficient operation of the accounting function.  He has extensive QuickBooks experience and provides technical and accounting support. With more than a decade of experience working for small companies Steve understands the perspective of the small business owner and works closely with companies and owners to help meet their business goals.

Steve graduated from Ohio University in 1992 with a degree in Business Finance. After meeting the additional accounting education requirements, he passed the Uniform CPA Exam in 1998.
